P'nut Butter and Banana Sandwich

Simple, childlike or quite sofisicated, healthy, craveable and delicious! Two versions.

Version I
1 Banana, sliced lengthwise
2 Slices of Good Bread (whitebread?)
1-2 Tbls Peanut Butter ( I like crunchy but smooth is fine)
8 0z. Cold Milk

Spread each slice of bread with p'nut butter, place banana slices on top of one slice. Cover with second slice of p'nut butter bread. Cut in half or diaganol, which ever is your choice. Serve on a paper towel. Have a large COLD glass of milk. Enjoy.

Version II
1 Banana, sliced lengthwise
2 Slices of Good Bread ( a hearty mulitgrain or your favorite)
1-2 Tbls Peanut Butter (please use crunchy) okay....fine use smooth if you must
1-2 Tsps of Butter
One iron skillet heated over med high heat.

Spread each slice of bread with peanut butter, place banana slices on top of one slice. Cover with second slice of peanut butter bread. Melt butter in iron skillet, when butter is melted and sizzling place sandwich in pan and quickly turn to the second side. This way both sides of the sandwich will bet toasty and browned. Cook sandwich until it is GBD. Remove from skillet and place on one of your favorite small plates, slice in half or diagonally ( I prefer diagonal). Serve with a glass of COLD milk or cup of hot coffee.
